Cookie policy
Short version
This site uses one non-essential cookie: Google Analytics, so we can see roughly how many people visit and which pages are useful. It's off by default. Nothing is set until you click "Accept" on the banner that appears on your first visit — if you decline or just ignore it, no analytics cookie is set and nothing is sent to Google. The site works exactly the same either way.
Why we ask first
An analytics cookie isn't necessary for the site to function, so Spanish and EU law (the cookie rules under the LSSI and GDPR) requires your consent before we set one — not just a notice that we do.
What Google Analytics collects, if you accept
- Which pages you visit on this site and roughly how long you stay
- A general idea of where you're visiting from (country or city level, not your precise location)
- The type of device and browser you're using
- How you arrived at the site — for example, from a search engine or a direct link
We don't use this to identify you personally, and we never combine it with the name, email, or listing details you might give us through the contact or request forms. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses cookies for more detail.
What else touches third parties
A couple of other things on this site involve outside services, and those may set their own cookies under their own policies — not something we control:
- Stripe. When you click "Pay now," you're taken to a checkout page hosted on stripe.com, which sets its own cookies to process your payment securely. See Stripe's cookie policy.
- Google Fonts. The typefaces on this site are loaded from Google's font service, which involves a request to Google's servers (and shares your IP address with them) but doesn't set a cookie the way analytics tools do. See Google's privacy policy.
Local storage
Your browser keeps a record of the choice you make on the cookie banner (accepted or declined) in local storage on your device, so we don't ask again on every visit. This isn't used to track you elsewhere and isn't shared with anyone.
Manage your choice
You can change your mind at any time, whatever you chose before.
If this changes
If we ever add another analytics or advertising cookie, we'll update this page and the consent banner will ask you again before it's set.
