2. What this website is for
ConfirMad arranges in-person visits to rental listings in Madrid on behalf of a prospective tenant, and delivers a written report on what was found. This site lets you learn about the service, book a check, and pay for it.
3. Not a law firm, not an agent, not a payment holder
ConfirMad is not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice and we do not review tenancy contracts for legal validity — see our Terms for the full scope of the service.
ConfirMad is not a rental agent or intermediary in the tenancy itself, and never receives, holds, or transfers any rental deposit or rent payment. Any such payment happens directly between you and the landlord. The only payment made to ConfirMad is the fee for the verification service.
4. Using this site
You agree to use this site and the information on it for lawful purposes — for example, not as a pretext to harass a landlord or to visit an address you have no genuine interest in renting.
5. Intellectual property
The ConfirMad name, logo, and the design and text of this site belong to Santiago Antonio Platas Rengel unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce or reuse them without permission.
6. Liability
We put this site together carefully, but we can't guarantee it's always free of errors or available without interruption. Reports we deliver reflect what was observed during a specific visit at a specific time — see the Terms for the full limitations of the service.
7. Applicable law
This notice is governed by Spanish law. The courts of Madrid will have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that let you bring a claim in the courts of your own domicile instead.
